Synths, Sounds, Basslines

While under a tight budget, its hard to think you can have production grade sounds in many compositions.
However, this is the digital age, and being the digital age sounds are reproduced through chips to give that same analog touch.
Of course Analog has the OG aura to it but gotta wok with what you got.

Many websites today have a lot of free VST's you can run through your DAW.
DAW: Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Reason, Fruity Loops, just to name a few.

A few things you may want in a DAW is
-Sequencer
-Good EQ
-Sampler
-MIDI capablities
-good flow for bringing in different file types and mapping

Pick one and get into the motion of trying to get used to controls, modulations, time markers, warping, time stretching, BPM matching, sampling, cutting, sequencing, using midi.

THEN THINK about possible gear that can enhance your workflow and sounds.
Cuz a Bank with no money is useless.
